The Boat that Guy Built follows Guy Martin as he renovates a neglected narrowboat using inventions from the time of the Industrial Revolution.
1 :01x01 - A Nice Cup Of Tea Mar/02/2011 Guy builds a blast furnace to cast an iron pot to boil water. He then finds out how to make traditional Wedgwood mugs.
2 :01x02 - A Nice Hot Shower Mar/09/2011 Guy continues wih the renovations and he makes a steam engine to try to get the boat's shower working.
3 :01x03 - A Good Night's Sleep Mar/16/2011 Guy takes a look around an Industrial Revolution cotton mill, where he creates his own bedsheets on a 19th-century loom there. He also makes his own version of an alarm clock.
4 :01x04 - Beans On Toast Mar/23/2011 Guy attempts to make a tin can using techniques that where used 200 hundred years ago. He also finds out more about Sheffield steel cutlery and makes baked beans.
5 :01x05 - Make a Boat a Home Mar/30/2011 Guy finds out more about interior designer William Morris while attempting to apply one of his wallpaper patterns with the help of a friend. Guy also takes a look around a Macclesfield mill.
6 :01x06 - The Homecoming Apr/06/2011 Guy shows off the renovated boat at a party after completing the project. He also finds out how to prepare Victoria sponge, and also shoots a commemorative Victorian-style portrait with a 150-year-old camera. The boat's first voyage is a difficult one.
